Queen's University

And the Judges are Locked In!

Five judges, 5 laptops, 5 clipboards,1 Master of Ceremonies, 10 volunteers and 30 graduate students and their presentations.  That's what it takes to hold the Ontario 3 Minute Thesis Competition at Queen's University on 18th April (Kinesiology building room 100 starting at 4pm).

As the inaugural Ontario 3 Minute Thesis competition and wanting to show the best of graduate research presentations, the line up of judges is fantastic.

Judge 1 - Vicki Keith, the most successful marathon swimmer in the world and Canadian swim coach for athletes with a disability

Judge 2 - Rob Baker, founder and member of "Tragically Hip"

Judge 3 - Hugh Christie, Lawyer and partner at Gowlings, Toronto

Judge 4 - Donald Drummond, Chair for the Commission on the Reform of Ontario’s Public Services.

Judge 5 - Peter Gooch, Senior Director of Policy and Analysis at the Council of Ontario Universities Secretariat

Biographies of each of the judges can be found on the "judges page" as well as a biography for our MC, Matthew Bissell of 98.3 FlyFM on the "Event Details pages".
