Queen's Summer Camps

A wide variety of camps for children of all ages are offered at Queen’s in spring and summer. From sports to geography, art, and eco-adventures — there is something for everyone.

Only the camps listed on this website have been approved by the Queen’s Camp Compliance Oversight Group (CCOG). For more information, please refer to the university's Policies and Procedures for Activities Involving Minors or contact CCOG at camps@queensu.ca.

Queen's Summer Engineering Academy (QSEA)

With both residence and day options available, the QSEA program is an engineering-focused educational summer program that exposes your child to engineering design, as well as engineering fields such as chemical, civil, electrical and computing, geological, mechanical engineering, mining, and others.

One-week programs in July and August.

Eco-Adventure Camp

Eco-Adventure Camp offers a variety of programming for all ages! Check our website for more on session dates, transportation, registration etc.

Leader in Training Week (July 3-6)

An advanced four-day program for older youth interested in advanced outdoors activities and developing leadership skills. Includes first-aid training and an overnight component at the Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre. LITs are welcome to apply as helpers at our regular day camp for Ontario Secondary School volunteer hours.

The fee includes transportation, room and board, and the first-aid training from the Queen's University branch of St. John Ambulance.

Age 15-18

Eco-Adventure Day Camp

Our day camp for children 10 - 14. A new adventure every week from 10 July - 25 August! Hands-on learning as well as traditional camp activities promote fun, fitness, and a love of nature. Includes swimming, hiking, critter-catching, and guest presentations by ecology experts. Daily transportation provided at no extra cost (see our website for details).

ASUS Camps is a not-for-profit arts and science summer camp aimed at engaging the imagination and creativity of Kingston youth. Our interactive programming incorporates the standards of education that are present within the Ontario Curriculum and is designed for children aged 4-8. We have new and exciting themes for every week, each with different interactive activities to engage our campers!

Summer SmARTs Camp

In engaging art programs for children and teens, Summer SmARTs mixes in-gallery discussions with exciting studio projects in various media. The André Biéler Studio is home base for a one-week course for teens, and four one-week art day camps for 6–12 year-olds.
