Electronic Reading Room

Section 35 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act requires the University to establish a reading room where manuals, and policies used by officers of the University are publicly available. Queen's University has a large library that is open to the public, but to make our reading room material as widely accessible as possible, we have launched this electronic reading room on the web for convenience. Below you will find links to University policies grouped by broad subject matter.

Senate, Board of Trustees and University Council Policies and Procedures
The Senate is responsible for setting academic policy and for all academic matters which affect the University as a whole. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall operation of the university, including overseeing financial matters and senior appointments. The University Council serves as both an advisory and ambassadorial body to the University as a whole and is responsible for the election of the Chancellor. Not all University policies and procedures are approved by the Senate or Board of Trustees. The following is an Alpha list of Senate and Board approved policies, procedures and guidelines.
