Please note:  Pure Mathematics 30 can be used in place of Mathematics 30-1
Computing [QD] English 30-1, Mathematics 30-1, plus three additional academic 30 or 31 level courses. Mathematics 31 is recommended.

Fine Art [QT]

Concurrent Education/Fine Art [QTT]

English 30-1, plus four additional academic 30 or 31 level courses. Portfolio Examination.

Music [QM]

Concurrent Education/Music [QMM]

English 30-1, plus four additional academic 30 or 31 level courses. Music requirements for Ontario or Quebec. Personal audition, interview and aural discrimination test.
Music Theatre [QMT] English 30-1, plus four additional academic 30 or 31 level courses. Personal audition.

Kinesiology [QK] English 30-1, Biology 30, Mathematics 30-1 or Mathematics 31, plus two of: Chemistry 30, Pure Mathematics 30 or Mathematics 31 (whichever is not included above) or Physics 30.

Please Note: Pure Mathematics 30 can be used in place of Mathematics 30-1 
Commerce [QC]

English 30-1, Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 31 with minimum grades of 80%; plus two additional academic 30 or 31 level courses.

Please Note:  Pure Mathematics 30 can be used in place of Mathematics 30-1 

Engineering [QE]

Engineering and Computer Engineering Stream [QEC]

QBridge Engineering [QXE]

English 30-1, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 31. Final grade in English 30 must be a minimum of 70%.

Please Note: Pure Mathematics 30 can be used in place of Mathematics 30-1

Nursing Science [QN]

English 30-1, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 or 31, plus one additional academic 30 or 31 level course. Final grade in English 30 must be 75%.

Please Note:  Pure Mathematics 30 can be used in place of the Mathematics requirement. 

 

Admission notes for students completing the Alberta Curriculum:

Please note for application purposes, Queen's University requires you to submit a High School Issued transcript that includes courses you are currently enrolled in as well as courses you are registered in for your 2nd Semester (if in a Semestered/Term High School). Applicants whom have been offered admission will be required to submit a Final transcript directly from Alberta Education.

Students whom have already completed and received their Alberta Diploma must arrange for a Final high school transcript to be sent directly to Queen's from Alberta Education in order to complete their document requirements.
