Optional-Apply for an Admission Bursary

The bursary application is your chance to apply for Queen’s need-based financial assistance. Don’t worry - this has no impact on your eligibility for admission to Queen’s. Bursaries are granted to students based on financial need. It’s an amount of money you receive to help finance your education and you don’t have to pay it back.

To complete your bursary application:
1. Go to SOLUS
2. Scroll to Finances–Financial Aid
3. Click on ‘Queen’s Admission Bursary Application’

Your Admission Checklist

Login to SOLUS and check your To-Do List.
We will add to it as we begin to assess your application. Check it often to ensure you are up-to-date, and on-time!

To Login:

  1. Go to my.queensu.ca
  2. Enter your NetID and password
  3. Click on the red SOLUS button on the right-hand of your screen

If you're not studying in an Ontario school, submit a transcript. You may receive an offer of admission, based on your grade 11 marks. Send us a transcript often. We will reassess your application every time we receive new information.

It's a good idea to review our Official Document policy before sending us your transcript.

Submit your PSE/SE
It's mandatory for Commerce and highly recommended for all other programs. As soon as you are ready, submit it. Many students work on it over the winter break. The last recommended day to submit it is February 15.
