The OUAC website gives me the option to send a transcript now, or wait until the end of my term, which one should I choose?

  • The Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment office must receive a transcript by February 1st to consider your application. We encourage students to submit all available marks when they are applying so that we may begin to assess their application. All admitted students must submit final university marks by June 30th.

I'm currently enrolled in a prerequisite course for the Nursing AST program - what do I need to do?

  • Students must confirm confirmation of enrollment no later than February 1st. A confirmation of enrollment may be forwarded from your current institution by mail, email or fax. Conditional offers may be made to students who are currently taking a prerequisite course.

My SOLUS to-do list is requesting a high school transcript - is it really necessary?

  • Yes - we encourage all applicants to submit a high school transcript to avoid any delays in the processing of their application due to missing prerequisites.

When will I hear a decision on my application?

  • Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis throughout the admission cycle; however, the majority of admission decisions are made in March and April of each year.

Will I automatically be considered for admission to the 4-year program if I apply to the Advanced Standing Track and I'm not accepted?

  • No - applicants must submit an application to both the 4-year and 2-year programs if they wish to be considered for both.

How will I know if my Psychology and/or Physiology courses are acceptable for the AST program?

  • A comprehensive list of potentially acceptable courses from other institutions can be found on our website by clicking here. If your courses are not listed in this chart please contact the Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment Office.
