Cross-Faculty Transfer to the Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology
APPLICATION
Queen's Engineering, Commerce or Nursing students who wish to transfer to the Bachelor of Science program in Kinesiology must submit an application to the
Ontario Universities' Application Centre(OUAC) using a
105D Application by 1 June. Exceptions to this procedure are Queen's Arts and Science students. Current Arts and Science students who wish to switch into Kinesiology may request this change using an online application process which will become available 16 May at www.queensu.ca/artsci.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for admission consideration to the Bachelor of Science program in Kinesiology, students
- must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- must have taken university preparatory courses in Biology, and two of Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics (or equivalents). Please note: students who completed an Ontario secondary school curriculum must have taken university preparatory courses in Biology and Advanced Functions, and two of Calculus & Vectors, Chemistry or Physics, or equivalents.
A student having attempted 132.0, or more, units at the time of assessment and has a Cumulative GPA of less than 1.90 will be deemed ineligible to proceed to an Honours Degree. The academic standing "Ineligible to Proceed to an Honours Degree" shall be placed on the student's transcript. More information is available on

Your academic record will continue to be relevant in your new plan. Courses that were not passed in your previous plan will count as failures in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

After accepting an offer of admission to the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, students should consult with Kathy Jackson, Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies.
