Physical and Health Education
Accreditation by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators.
The honours program in Physical and Health Education explores human movement from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Students are taught the application of physical activity and sport knowledge in the context of teaching, coaching, fitness consulting, etc. and across all populations and abilities (e.g. children, persons with disabilities).
Along with other post-degree options, the program prepares students to offer Physical Education as a teaching subject for admission to teacher preparation programs.
