Are you thinking about studying in Engineering, Arts & Science or Commerce?
Do you want to gain meaningful experience in a workplace and still earn your degree?
Would you like to “test drive” a job before you launch into a career? Would you like some help figuring out what it is you want to do after university?
Do you want to earn money to fund further education?
You can do all of these things with the Queen’s Undergraduate Internship Program.
Our optional internship program is a 12 to 16 month program that allows second or third year Queen’s students to participate in a professionally supervised, career-related internship.
Doing an internship has given me many opportunities to work with people in my field. As expected, I have become close with many of the people I interact with everyday at work including chemists, technicians and managers in R&D. These contacts can be used as great references in the future for finding a job.”

“QUIP IS A HUGE SUCCESS! In addition to a solid education, it is relevant work experience that gives job candidates an edge when we hire scientists, engineers and technologists into our R&D group. For us, the Queen’s U internship program is a win-win collaboration where the student becomes a team member in applied R&D projects and earns the relevant work experience. We benefit from the addition of a motivated individual with strong academic skills and fresh perspectives to our team”.
