The majority of our student population is active in sports or recreational activities. Students enjoy one of the many leagues and sports clubs or take advantage of our fitness programs. Sports programs range from the elite level, producing national champions in team and individual disciplines, to recreational programs designed to help everyone stay active.
More than 10,000 students participate in 30 men's, women's and co-ed sports leagues a great way to stay in shape, enjoy your favourite sport and make new friends.
Our annual intramural sport weekend, a one-of-a-kind event, attracts 32 teams and over 1,110 students to compete in a wide variety of sports.
Participate in more than 30 different recreational clubs, from archery, curling, squash or tennis, to multiple disciplines of dancing, martial arts or gymnastics.
Fitness and Instructional Programs
Queen's offers more than 40 fitness classes per week, as well as energetic instructional programs such as yoga, pilates, salsa dancing, scuba diving and swimming.

Fielding great teams from basketball to ultimate frisbee, Queen's is a perennial contender for Ontario University Athletics (OUA) league titles and championships. Queen's consistently ranks in the top three Canadian Universities who produce the highest number of CIS Academic Canadians and OUA Academic All-Stars.
