Annalisa been an employee of Advancement since April 2004. She has worked in both Alumni Relations and Marketing & Communications, joining Marketing and Communications about two years ago. Annalisa has an exceptional combination of talents for electronic communications and customer service.
In her current role as Integrated Social Media Manager, Annalisa builds relationships across the university community and provides guidance and education on social media and other integrated Marketing and Communications web initiatives. She has been expanding the general awareness of such issues across the University and moving the community closer to creating and maintaining a more inclusive and high quality online environment for teaching and learning. Especially commendable of Annalisa's work in this field has been her focus on integrating and promoting the key aspects of the Queen's brand and identity across each medium.
Her support of our new Principal in his efforts to use Twitter to communicate to the broader Queen's community played a significant role in the naming of Principal Woolf as "Educator of the Week" by Lead America, an American youth leadership organization, and establishing him on campus as an engaged and accessible leader; in particular to students, arguably our most important internal audience.
Annalisa manages a large and and to most people, a very new portfolio in terms of social media and she is always helpful to colleagues, in the department, in Advancement, students, parents, prospective students, and visitors. She truly represents all of the values of Advancement, excellence, leadership, integrity, inclusivity and respect. Her dedication to the university, the department's goals and her role can be seen every day.
