October 2013 Fundraising Results

Fiscal Year (May 2013- April 2014)

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $26.5M – an increase of $1.9M from the September total of $24.6M.The fiscal goal for May 2013 – April 2014 is $60M. Five gifts of $100K+ accounted for $711K of the $1.9M in donations received in October.23 Gifts of $100K+ account for $21.2M of the $26.5M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

September 2013 Fundraising Results

Fiscal Year (May 2013- April 2014)

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $24.6M – an increase of $5.6M from the August total of $19M.
  • The fiscal goal for May 2013 – April 2014 is $60M.
  • 8 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $4.7M of the $5.6M in donations received in September. This includes a $1.15M gift made by Queen’s parents (who are not alumni themselves).
  • 18 gifts of $100K+ account for $20.5M of the $24.6M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

July 2013 Fundraising Results

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $18.1M – an increase of $1.6M from the June total of $16.5M.
  • The fiscal goal for May 2013 – April 2014 is $60M.
  • 2 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $617K of the $1.6M in donations received in July.
  • 8 gifts of $100K+ account for $15.6M of the $18.1M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

June 2013 Fundraising Results

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $16.5M – an increase of $3.2M from the May total of $13.3M.
  • The fiscal goal for May 2013 – April 2014 is $60M.
  • 3 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $2.4M of the $3.2M in donations received in June.
  • 6 gifts of $100K+ account for $15.0M of the $16.5M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

April 2013 Fundraising Results

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $67.4M - an increase of $4.7M from the March total of $62.7M.
  • The fiscal goal of $60M has been surpassed.
  • 5 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $3.1M of the $4.8M in donations received in April.
  • 77 gifts of $100K+ account for $53.1M of the $67.4M donated this Fiscal Year - these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

March 2013 Fundraising Results

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $62.7M – an increase of $1.6M from the February total of $61.1M.
  • The fiscal goal of $60M has been surpassed.
  • 4 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $517K of the $1.6M in donations received in March.
  • 72 gifts of $100K+ account for $50.0M of the $62.7M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).

February 2013 Fundraising Results

Fiscal Year (May 2012- April 2013)

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $61.1M - an increase of $4.8M from the January total of $56.3M.
  • The fiscal goal of $60M has been surpassed with 2 months remaining in the Fiscal Year.
  • 3 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $3.8M of the $4.8M in donations received in February.
  • 68 gifts of $100K+ account for $49.4M of the $61.1M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).
  • The Faculty of Law received a $510,510 gift to create an endowed fund to support clinical programs. This is the largest gift ever received by the Faculty.

January 2013 Fundraising Results

Fiscal Year (May 2012- April 2013)

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $56.3M - an increase of $6M from the December total of $50.3M.
  • A strong January has positioned us well, with 94% of the fiscal goal of $60M achieved.
  • 6 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $3.8M of the $6.0M in donations received in January.
  • 65 gifts of $100K+ account for $45.6M of the $56.3M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).
  • A generous $2.15M gift from grateful parents (non-alumni) demonstrated the potential of our parents and will help inform an expanded program for parents to be developed in cooperation with Student Affairs.
