March 2014 fundraising results

The following are highlights based on the tables below and major initiatives in the month of March.

Initiative Campaign (2006-2016)

  • Campaign donations now total $406.6M (81%) against the $500M goal.
  • Gift Planning expectancies (the estimated value of future bequest, insurance, and registered account and trust proceeds confirmed by donors) now total $89.5M (89%) against a parallel goal of $100M.
  • This total will fluctuate, as realized gifts from this expectancies total are subtracted from this total and added to the main Campaign total.

Fiscal Year (May 2013- April 2014)

  • Donations this Fiscal Year total $64.2M – an increase of $8.4M from the February total of $55.8M.
  • At $64.2M, Queen’s has now surpassed its fiscal goal of $60M.
  • 5 gifts of $100K+ accounted for $7.5M of the $8.4M in donations received in March.
  • 57 gifts of $100K+ account for $51.5M of the $64.2M donated this Fiscal Year – these figures support our continued emphasis on principal ($5M+) and major gifts ($100K+).
