We hope you will join us April 6 - 7 at the Donald Gordon Conference Centre for Alumni Volunteer Summit 2018!

This year’s conference will focus on “Building a Better Volunteer: From Recruitment to Recognition”. Volunteers will be encouraged to reflect on their own personal and professional growth, as well as the overall strength and sustainability of their volunteer teams. While thinking about strong, positive team dynamics, attendees will consider concepts such as diversity and inclusion in the Queen’s volunteer context.

Featured faculty speakers include:

  • Kate Rowbotham, Assistant Professor and Distinguished Faculty Fellow of Organizational Behavior, Queen’s Smith School of Business
  • Daniel R. Woolf, Queen’s Principal & Vice Chancellor

View the conference schedule (PDF, 739 KB), check out these helpful FAQs (PDF, 536 KB) or visit the AVS homepage to learn more about the conference and view photos and keynote presentations from past Alumni Volunteer Summits.

Note: The weekend will culminate with the Queen's University Alumni Association Gala Awards Dinner, a black tie gala event honouring extraordinary alumni achievements. Those registering for AVS will have the option to register for the Gala at the same time, and will receive a discounted rate ($80) on their Gala registration fee.
