Jessica Starr's Biography:

Jessica first came to Jarndyce as an intern in the spring of 2015 while completing her MA in the History of the Book at the University of London. Her first project was to catalogue over 5000 pamphlets from 1630-1930. She has since completed catalogues on Eighteenth Century Novels, the Fin de Siècle, and the Romantic period, as well as several shortlists comprised of 17th and 18th Century books and manuscripts. In addition to her MA, Jessica has a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and an MI in Library and Information Science from the University of Toronto. She is particularly interested in Early Modern cheap print and manuscript, especially seventeenth-century strange news and the English Civil War. Jessica's connection to Queen's started in 2007 when she attended Bader College for a year.
