Nordic Pathways - Tour Summary

From grand baroque palaces and timeless mediaeval centres to picturesque harbours and cutting-edge design, take in the splendours of Northern Europe while sailing from London to Copenhagen aboard Oceania Cruises’ elegant Marina. Depart Southampton for Belgium, and travel back in time in 14th-century Bruges, a lovely city of quaint gabled buildings and winding, flower-lined canals. Next is eclectic Amsterdam, Europe’s dynamic cultural hub filled with top galleries and museums, followed by the delightful port of Warnemünde, where a scenic drive takes you to Berlin, a city teeming with legendary landmarks. Explore the “City of Roses and Ruins,” Visby, encircled by 13th-century walls and home to ancient stone churches and botanical gardens, then continue to Helsinki, where ultra-modern masterpieces coexist with stunning mediaeval and neoclassical structures. Sail to one of Russia’s most enchanting cities, St. Petersburg and spend almost three days visiting its onion-domed cathedrals and majestic palaces. Before concluding your voyage in Copenhagen, admire the old-world charms of Tallinn, from spire-crowned churches and red-tile roofed homes to a renowned Gothic town hall.
