Queen's University - Utility Bar

Queen's University

East to the Arctic

The Canadian University Alumni community continues its exploration of what defines us as Canadians.  On board our exclusively chartered expedition vessel, we’ll enjoy a series of informative and engaging seminars by resource educators affiliated with Canadian universities and research centres in the fields of archaeology, natural history, and contemporary politics. Local Innu educators and National Park wardens provide additional context and enrichment. Our artist-in-residence team includes an award winning photographer, artist, musician, and story teller, adding a unique cultural component to our expedition. We go ashore every day by Zodiac to explore archaeological sites, capture photographic moments, meet local residents and take walks and hikes, suitable for chargers and contemplative wanderers alike.

Date: July 10 – 23, 2012

Price:  Cabin categories range in price up from approximately $4,995 per person, based on a triple share cabin, plus air and taxes

Activity Level:  Moderate
