In June, the Ottawa Branch Supper Club will be heading across the border into "LaBelle Province", to dine at Le Tartuffe (133, Notre Dame de L’Ile, in Gatineau).
This fine cuisine restaurant is located in a historical house, a stone's throw from the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Palais du Congrès, la Maison du Citoyen andminutes from downtown Ottawa and the Casino Lac-Leamy.
The fare at Le Tartuffe faithfully follows the inspirations of the owner, Gérard Fischer, resulting in a pleasing union of his French origins with Outaouais influences. Quiteunlike Molière's well-known, hypocritical theatre character of the same name, therestaurant Le Tartuffe is the ideal place to get together to spend happy, easy-goingtimes in a warm, unpretentious atmosphere.
Join us at Le Tartuffe on Tuesday, June 5th at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to Sarah at queensottawasupperclub@gmail.com.
