Class Reunion Plans: October 17 - 19, 2014

45 years ago you graduated from Queen’s. You left a lot of friends that day, some you have kept in touch with and many you have lost. Let’s get together again at Homecoming this year October 17th to 19th.

Sc'69 Weekend Events

Sc'69 Meet and Greet The Cavalier Room at the Travelodge Kick off your weekend by saying hello to your friends and classmates! Also, pick up your registration package and football tickets from the Sc'69 Reunion Planning Committee. 
Saturday 9:30-11:30 AM Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science events See below for details! See below for details!
Saturday 11:30 AM  Class group photo Douglas Library Steps Don't miss out on your chance to be immortalized on film with the rest of the Sc'69 class! Wear your jacket and Tricolour gear - that way you'll be ready for the photo as well as for the football game. 
Saturday 1:00-4:00 PM Football game - Queen's Gaels vs. York Lions Richardson Stadium Queen's Bands will be leading the parade out to Richardson Stadium, leaving from Grant Hall at 12:00. Kick-off is at 1:00. Remember: you'll need your ticket from your registration package in order to enter the Stadium! Reunioning classes will parade around the Stadium track at half-time.
Saturday evening Class Dinner  Cavelier Room, Travelodge Cocktails at 6:30 PM and Dinner at 7:30 PM

The TeaRoom in Beamish-Munro Hall (Corner of Union Street and Division Street)

Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science Dean Kimberly Woodhouse invites Engineering & Applied Science alumni and their guests to drop by the Tea Room for a pre-game social. Refreshments and light fare served. Meet current engineering students showcasing their club/team initiatives!

 

Department Open Houses will begin at 10:45 - student tour guides will be the hosts for alumni to visit their department.

Although it is not part of our official program at all, some of you might want to think about scheduling an "FFB" for 9:30 etc; just before checkout. That is the "Fond Farewell Breakfast" with that special and close group of friends or classmates. Remember, it will be another 5 years before we can do this again and no matter how you cut it, the "BIG 50" is an important one, whether it be anniversary, retirement or reunion. Leave it up to you guys!
