2013 will mark our 50th anniversary as graduates of Queen's Law. We will also become the newest members of Queen's Tricolour Guard, an honourary title given to all alumni who are celebrating a reunion of 50 years or greater. Queen’s University has reinstated Fall Homecoming and our the class is invited back to campus to celebrate our reunion on the weekend of October 18 – 20, 2013. It will be wonderful to get together again.
As members of the Tricolour Guard, there are some additional perks including available accommodation at Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront and an invitation to the Tricolour Guard Dinner on Saturday evening hosted by the Principal and Chancellor, at which classes are seated together. Details about Tricolour Guard advantages and special registration packages will be forwarded to you in April.
As an alternative to the Tricolour Guard Dinner, we could have a class dinner at a local restaurant. Please advise if this is your preference and how many will attend.
The Law School will host a continental breakfast in the atrium of Macdonald Hall and student guided tours on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00am. If you are interested in attending the football game, Queen’s Gaels play the Guelph Gryphons at Richardson Stadium, kick off at 1:00pm. Tickets can be purchased as part of the Tricolour Guard Registration. The Dean will host a cocktail reception from 5:30 to 7pm at The University Club, 168 Stuart Street for all law alumni and their guests.
On Sunday morning, you are invited to Sonny's house for coffee. Details will be provided in the next letter.
