3:00-8:00 pm: Rehab’83 Alice Island Hop
Bill and Nicki Glassier have invited us for an afternoon Oktoberfest barbeque at their cottage. It’s about a 20 min drive north of Kingston. We’ll meet at Upper Brewers Lock station off Hwy 15 at 3:00 pm. They’ll arrange for boats to pick us up and whisk us away for an afternoon of fun and catching up. Ferry, dinner and German beer included for $20/adult.  Feel free to bring other drinks of choice.  Boats will return us to the mainland around 8:00 pm.

9:00 pm-close: All Faculty’83 Pub Night at Alfie’s
Come listen to a great live band (The 20th Century Boys) and visit with old friends from other faculties. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by emailing Alfiesevent@gmail.com. Proceeds to The Jack Project charity, started by a family who lost their son to suicide during his first year at Queen’s.

Sun Oct 20

11:00 am-2:00 pm: Class Brunch
Heather and Matt Faris will once again welcome us to their home at 76 Mac Donnell St. for brunch and a final chance to connect before we all head home.  $12/adult and $6/child (12 and under).  Heather is also converting our infamous class slide show to DVD and copies will be available for a small fee.

Please see the Homecoming website for a full listing of campus events. Be sure to register (it’s free!) to receive planning updates, a digital program booklet and reunion pin and to view the Who’s Coming page.

Hoping that many of you will be able to join us!  Please email me at linda.rooke@comcast.net to let me know if you can attend and indicate what events interest you so we can get an estimate of numbers for planning.
