How do I register for Homecoming?

Links to the online registration sites for 5th Reunion, 25th Reunion, Tricolour Guard Reunion, and General Registration are posted on the Homecoming website.

[Football Game]Who are the Gaels playing at the Saturday afternoon football game?

The Gaels will be battling the Laurier Golden Hawks. Go Gaels Go!!

How do I get football tickets? When do they go on sale?

Football tickets can be purchased online when you register for the weekend. You can choose to purchase either a General Admission seat in the Alumni seating area, or a Gaels Club ticket for the licensed area. 

Will there be a parade around the track for alumni at half-time of the football game?

Yes, get your class banners ready, and wear your Tricolour!

What types of events does the University have planned for the weekend?

There's an incredible variety of events being planned for Homecoming Weekend! Check out the complete listing of events online - better yet, bookmark that site! We're continually updating the listings as new event plans are confirmed.

When you arrive on campus and check in at Grant Hall, be sure to pick up a Program Booklet as well, and you'll have the full details for every event that we know of right at your fingertips. 

Where can I stay for the weekend?

Your Reunion Coordinator may have booked a block of rooms for your class, so be sure to check in with them. You also have the option of booking rooms on your own.

Check the Kingston Tourism website for local accommodation options.

We haven’t been to Kingston for a while. What are some good restaurants for dinner/brunch that weekend?

There are so many tastebud-tempting options! Have a look at the Tourism Kingston Restaurant Directory or the Downtown Kingston! Restaurant Directory.

Also, on both Saturday and Sunday morning anytime between 9:30-11:30 AM, you can come to Leonard Hall for a delicious "all-you-care-to-eat" brunch at Leonard Cafeteria along with current students. Just $10 at the door, and no need to buy tickets in advance.

How do I find out what my class is doing?

Check your email regularly for updates from your Reunion Coordinator with all of your class plans!

Are any of my professors going to be around that weekend?

It's always great to reconnect with professors who made your student experience more memorable and your educational experience more valuable. If you would like to be connected with a former prof and involve them in one of your class events, please contact the Reunions Office at We can also help you get in touch with the department if you'd like to reach out to them directly.

Many faculties and buildings will be holding open houses over the Homecoming weekend. As with other event info, details are posted and updated on the Homecoming website .

Will there be campus tours over the weekend?

You bet! Campus tours will launch from Grant Hall during the Alumni Meet & Greet event on both Friday (11:30 AM - 6:00 PM) and Saturday morning (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM). Keep checking (you guessed it) the Homecoming website for full details, and for information on other great tour opportunities.
