Kick off your Homecoming Weekend by visiting Grant Hall any time between 8 am – 12  pm today! Representatives from Queen's Archives, student clubs, Athletics, and more are eager to welcome you home to Queen's.

 

Pick up your reunion pin at the registration tables, along with any tickets for activities that you've purchased, such as football tickets.

 

**Don’t forget: your pre-ordered football tickets MUST be picked up at Grant Hall no later than 10:30 am today!**

 

When you’ve finished registering and visiting the display tables, take a campus tour with one of our friendly and knowledgeable student tour guides!

Come hear from your alumni colleagues about their professional research and experiences. This year’s sessions will be presented by Dr. Thomas Todd (Meds’69), Dr. Andrew Pipe (Meds’74), and Drs. Susan Sangster-Gibson and Susan Rodgman (both Meds’84). If you haven’t already registered for this valuable professional development opportunity, you can still do so either on the central registration pages for Homecoming Weekend, or at the door.

The Isabel will be offering a limited number of guided tours to interested Alumni who register beforehand.


Each tour lasts between 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Tours start at the front entrance near the box office. Guests with any concern or accommodation needs can contact  ibcpa.outreach@queensu.ca .

Join current students for a hot, delicious, all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast at Leonard Hall. Come any time between 9:30 and 11:30 am to enjoy the meal and chat with students.

Tickets are $10, and can be pre-purchased for this breakfast through the central Homecoming registration sites, and then picked up at Grant Hall as part of your registration package.
Tickets can also be purchased at the door, if capacity permits.

Looking for somewhere to rally your Tricolour Spirit before the big game? Join students and alumni at Spirit Corner in your best Queen’s wear to gear up in tricolour paint and take photos with Superfan!
Pom-poms and megaphones will be sold by students from a group called MyVision Queen’s. By purchasing these, you’ll bring cheer not only to the Gaels’ games you attend, but also to underprivileged kids in the Rideau Heights area of Kingston, as all profits from sales go towards funding valuable extracurricular activities.

The School of Nursing will be holding an open house and brunch for all Nursing alumni, with the opportunity to tour the Nursing Simulation laboratory. There is no cost to attend the open house; brunch tickets can be purchased for $10.

The School of Rehabilitation Therapy is hosting a Homecoming Brunch prior to the football game. The Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented at the brunch as well. Brunch tickets are $30.

Art conservation is a multidisciplinary field involving the examination, interpretation, analysis and conservation of cultural, historic and artistic objects.  Queen’s Master’s degree program in Art Conservation is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and is still the only one of its kind in Canada. Visitors to the program’s facilities can see the treatment and science labs, where students learn to conserve paintings, works of art on paper, and objects of archeological, historic and ethnographic origins, including Greek classical antiquities and Canadian First Nations collections.


A student will greet you outside the front door at 15 Bader Lane (opposite Ban Righ) when you arrive.

And of course, there will be many  opportunities to share stories and memories, and to celebrate relationships that have lasted over half a century.

John Deutsch University Centre (87 Union Street), John Orr Room Student actors will be performing an adaptation of Jean Paul Sartre's No Exit. Actors will be within arm's distance of the audience and will be performing in hyper-realist style. This performance aims to push the boundaries between actors and their audiences.

Admission to the licensed area will be restricted to students (age 19+) and alumni (Alumni card is required), with the option of signing in one guest (age 19+) per person. Alumni card is required; alumni who do not have a card can pick up a temporary alumni card at Grant Hall during the Welcome Home! Alumni Meet & Greet events.
