This award recognizes a current Queen's student who has demonstrated achievement in two or more of the following areas: leadership; academic, athletic or artistic achievement; voluntary service abroad; service to their community and/ or the University; and in particular, support of the Queen's University Alumni Association. The student's contributions can be made in the year of nomination or over several years. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, retirees, and members of the public are invited to submit nominations.
2011 Recipient Jillian, who is completing her MA in Gender Studies this year, is active in the Society of Graduate and Professional Students, Enrichment Studies Unit, and Ban Righ Foundation. She has been accepted into Queen’s Law for the Fall of 2011.
Jillian was honoured at the QUAA’s gala awards evening in Grant Hall on October 15 as part of the Alumni Volunteer Summit.
