Jess loved her Queen's experience, where she graduated with a BAH in History. While at Queen's, she was active as a Gael, a Coordinator for ArtSci Orientation, a Deputy Commissioner in the AMS, and then Vice President University Affairs of the AMS in 1995-96. Jess also worked on campus in a number of capacities: AMS Walk Home, Queen's Telethon, and the Department of Alumni Affairs. Jess was previously involved in the Toronto Alumni Branch Executive, lastly in the position of Vice President, and recently she has been part of QUAA Board of Directors, as an Executive Vice President.
After Queen’s, Jess attended U of T, and studied - Internet Business and Technology. Now, Jess and her husband own a web development, ecommerce and online marketing firm, called Insiteful Solutions. They live in a hamlet just north-east of Toronto with their infant son, Bentley, and Jess also has two lovely step-daughters. Jess enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include photography, volunteering, cooking and "cottaging".
