Lynne fell in love with Kingston and Queen’s while day-tripping with friends from her Toronto high school. She spent a memorable four years at Queen’s as an active member of the climbing and outdoors community. She graduated in English in 1997 and promptly returned to complete her Master’s in 1998.
After taking a few years to travel and climb full-time, and to work in public relations at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Lynne moved to the west coast to complete her PhD at the University of Victoria in 2009.
Now living in Toronto, Lynne is working as an academic researcher and has just finished her first book, Adapting King Lear for the Stage. She keeps busy rowing and renovating her house, and recently ran her first half-marathon. Lynne is delighted to be a member of the Queen’s University alumni community and is looking forward to building on the friendships and professional contacts she made in Kingston.
