Commemorative gifts may be designated for a special purpose, or can be unrestricted allowing the University to direct your support to the area of greatest need.
During the year's Queen's Campus Community Appeal, staff and faculty are invited to make a "You made a difference to me" gift in honour of that special someone.
When you make a commemorative gift, Queen's will provide your name, but not the amount of your gift, to a designated contact person.
"Both my father, Cecil MacRae (Arts'35) and my uncle, Donald MacRae (Arts'29) had enormous respect and affection for Queen's. They would be delighted to know of the benches located in front of Summerhill dedicated to their memory, and to that of my late mother, Edna Rettie Macrae (McGill'40). Queen's organized a beautiful ceremony, and the memories will always be special."
- Allan Macrae, Sci'71
