You can direct your gift to the place at Queen's that means most to you. This could include the faculty or school from which you graduated, the department you studied through, the athletic team you competed on, or the club you participated in.

Gifts to the Queen's Fund are used to fund the most urgent, on-going needs of the University - such as student assistance, technology upgrades, student services and library acquisitions. Undesignated funds give the University the flexibility to respond to unanticipated needs and to seize unexpected opportunities throughout the year.

Queen's employs more than 50 energetic students to call alumni throughout the year. Current students enjoy the chance to hear the stories of alumni, and many alumni are interested to hear about the Queen's experience today.

We realize that giving decisions are personal. All gifts to the University are greatly appreciated!

You sure can! Queen's would be pleased to accept a gift with payments spread out up to three years in monthly or quarterly payments. This then gives us an opportunity to get in touch with you regarding your area of interest at Queen's.

Yes, you will. Gift receipts are mailed (or emailed as a PDF if you choose to make your gift online) 3-5 days after we have processed your gift. Monthly gift installments will be receipted at year-end and mailed out in February.

We hope so! Please check with your HR or Personnel department to find out if your employer has a matching gift program. Then all you have to do is fill out a matching gift claim form and mail it to us along with your donation! Five minutes is all it takes to double, or even triple, your gift to the area at Queen's that matters most to you. You can also check our Matching Gift Database to see if your company is registered with Queen's as a matching gift company.

Yes, you can. Alumni, and relatives of alumni, can make a gift or a pledge to Queen's. If you work for a matching gift company in the United States, or are a friend of the University, there may be different rules regarding eligible charities.

The Appreciation Societies of Queen's University were created as one way of thanking Queen's supporters. Eligible donors are welcomed into one of four Appreciation Societies that recognize donors based on the total of their annual contributions. Donors who are making deferred gift provisions for Queen's have their own Appreciation Society, called the Royal Legacy Society.
