If you would like to immerse yourself in an Arabic speaking environment, then you should consider taking Arabic classes at Queen's:
صفنا Our Class
Saffuna, Arabic word for “Our Class,” is an Arabic language program at Queen's.

Saffuna is made up of a small group of students committed to improving their oral proficiency by active use of Arabic in cooperation with a language instructor. Our Department offers currently two language aquisition courses: Introductory Modern Standard Arabic ( ARAB 100) and Intermediate Modern Standard Arabic (ARAB 200). In addition to the required textbooks, the two courses rely on self-learning and using audio-visual materials.
Please note: Arabic courses may be taken as electives or as part of a minor in World Language Studies.
