Every May for more than forty years the Queen’s Venice Summer School has provided the opportunity to live and learn in a city unlike any other.

Upon graduation from the Master of Art Conservation program, many of our students look for internships and fellowships throughout the world.

The Winifred Ross Multimedia Room allows faculty, staff and students to access digital resources such as high-end iMacs, digital scanners, and printers.

In addition to being the recipients of several teaching awards, our faculty members have international reputations as scholars and pursue active research agendas.

A Master of Art Conservation student uses a specialized microscope for the examination of a painting.

Ontario Hall was designed in the Victorian Romanesque style and dates from 1902.

Students in the Master of Art Conservation treatment program specialize in the treatment of artifacts, paintings or paper.

During the summers, Art Conservation students are required to complete twelve-week off-campus internships in their area of specialty.

BFA Programme
Visual Art

The BFA programme offers a three year General BFA and a four year Honours BFA degree. This programme provides a foundation in the visual arts that can lead to many different career choices such as professional artist, art educator, architect, curator, designer and more.
