The primary focus of the Winifred Ross Multimedia Room (WRMR) is to support the teaching and research activities of the Art History & Art Conservation and the BFA programmes through the provision of a high tech facility in which faculty, staff and students can access digital resources they may otherwise be unable to experience. The room is equipped with a special reflective screen for use with data projection devices. There are several high-end iMacs, all equipped with the newest image manipulation software. Digital scanners, printers and an Elmo are also included in the suite of digital equipment that is available for use.
The WRMR is available to students, faculty & staff of Art History, Art Conservation and the BFA Programme.
Still the cheapest on campus, prices are: 10 cents for each side of text and 50 cents for a full page image (25 cents for a half page).
The Winifred Ross Multimedia Room is open to all Queen's faculty and students, with priority being given to members of the Department of Art.
