Queen's Drama Department & Herman Voaden Estate Organization - this is our Eighth Biennial playwriting competition made possible by a generous bequest from Voaden's estate, "to develop a distinctly Canadian art of the theatre, to encourage the writing of Canadian drama," is dedicated to his memory and honours his goals.
The Vogt Producers are Queen's Drama Department students who choose small single act plays from student proposals. The plays are most often written by students and are directed and acted by students. The whole evening of plays is about 1 1/2 hours, with one intermission
