Focus Film Festival
Website: Focus Film Festival
The Focus Film Festival's organizational team is comprised of 8 executive members and 3 interns from the Queen's student community. For the tenth year straight, the Focus Film Festival team hopes to provide a top-notch creative outlet and screening for the Queen's University and Kingsotn community.
For the tenth year in a row, the Focus Film Festival gives Queen's students a chance to demonstrate their film-making ability to the Queen's and Kingston community. Taking place over a whirlwind weekend, students shoot short films based on a theme with other students from various faculties and assorted levels of expertise. On Wednesday, February 1st, a free screening, which is open to the public, is held at the Agnes Etherington Art Gallery, where industry professionals come to judge the films that the students have created. Focus represents an opportunity for students of all faculties and expertise to come out, get to know their peers and have a great time making some movie magic.
