Melos Music Society, Inc.

The Kingston Melos Society had been a presence in the Kingston choral music since the mid-1980's. In the winter of 2009, the Board of Melos decided to concentrate on historically-informed performances, with an emphasis on the baroque period. At the same time, we are supporting a group of professional instrumentalists who are interested in performing in historically-informed style. The group has evolved into the Melos Music Society, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization consisting of a volunteer choral group, the Melos Choir, and the professional Melos Orchestra.
