Illuminance - Fire and Ice Sculptures
Queen's student Barbara Meneley's "Illuminance," a centrepiece event this year, captures the spirit of student-community artistic collaboration. Ms Meneley, a Cultural Studies graduate student, will display and light her snow and ice sculptures, as well as those created by participants from the community, in the amphitheatre at Springer Market Square, on Friday evening, February 3 from 7 to 8 pm.
Joining Barbara will be two local choirs - the Caledonias A Cappella Choir at 7 pm and Open Voices Community Choir at 7:30 pm. Come join in the family fun - skate in Market Square, illuminate your ice sculpture and listen to some divine singers!
