What about the old A, B, C grades?

Arts and Science transcripts historicallty contained a percent grade and an associated letter grade of A (80%+), B (65% - 79%) or C (50 – 64%).  It should be noted that these letter grades are not used today for any academic purpose, nor will they in the future.  They bear no relationship to the new letter-based grading system.  In fact, they represent a holdover from a time when the Faculty “classed” degrees and have not been used for many years.
