Hello! My name is Frances Morin and I am a Biology student entering my 4th year at Queen’s University. I was born in Oakville Ontario and raised in North Vancouver British Columbia. Growing up on the west coast has given me an affinity for the outdoors; I love hiking, camping, surfing the Pacific Rim, and when the seasons change snowboarding and snowshoeing. Over the summer I had the privilege of working at The University of British Columbia’s Brain Research Centre developing a gene therapy for the treatment of strokes. This year I am the treasurer and 4th year representative for the Biology student council, as well as the co-chair of the Queen’s University Blood Team. Having spent the last three years at Queen’s has been a great experience, and I’d love to share the insight I’ve gained with incoming students!
