New Online BA Program Plan Launched
Queen’s Arts and Science Online is pleased to announce the launch of a new program plan in Global Development Studies for its accredited online Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
The Global Development Studies option is the fourth addition to the BA program plans in History, English and Psychology.
Queen's online BA is a general degree that can be completed with 90 credit units, equivalent to three years of full-time studies. Online courses from over 15 disciplines are offered in all three terms (Fall, Winter, and Summer) so that students can fit their studies into their work and family life.
There are currently two admissions paths for students interested in pursuing an accredited online BA degree through Queen’s University:
- A distance degree student who has a basis of admission upon application may take up to a full course load (15 credit units per term). You can choose how many courses you want to take each term and how long it will take you to complete your degree. If you have taken courses at another university, they may be reviewed for transfer credit towards a Queen’s degree.
- If you don't have a basis of admission, or if you want to try out a few courses before deciding to pursue a degree, then you'll start out as an interest student. Once you have completed 18.0 credit units with a minimum 1.60 (approximately C-) GPA, you can apply to a distance degree program. Your accumulated credit units will be applied toward the degree.
