Interest Student

For students who do not have the prerequisites to enter directly into a degree program.

To be eligible to apply as an Interest Student, you must be over 19 years of age.

Under this category, you’ll be able to pick a 3.0-unit class to start your first semester at Queen’s with. Next semester, you can choose one more 3.0-unit course (or you can take a 6.0 unit course than spans Fall-Winter). If you achieve the minimum 1.6 GPA on these first 6.0 units, we’ll move you into a category called “Non-Degree Continuing” where you will be allowed to take up to 9.0 units (3 classes) per semester.

Once you reach a total of 18.0 units at Queen’s and have maintained a minimum 1.6 GPA, we’ll allow you to choose from one of our online degree program options where you will then be able to take a full course load of up to 15.0 units (5 classes) per term.
