Take a moment to introduce yourself

Owner/Operator of professional breeding/boarding kennel. Mother of three adult children.

What made you decide to pursue online learning?

I did a college diploma at 30yrs old with 3 young children and then waited to get my degree until my children were grown up. I decided to try to start my degree online and see how I make out.

How did you hear about Queen’s online options, and what made you choose Queen’s?

I was searching for an Indigenous studies program in Ontario. I really liked what Queen’s had to offer.

How did you find your first online course/learning experience?

I found my first course in Dev. to be very interesting. The modules were jam packed, well organized and thought provoking.

Would you recommend online learning to others? Why/why not?

Being able to work on an online degree is very rewarding. Being able to do my school work on my time schedule is amazing.

What are your hopes/dreams/ambitions after your courses/program?

I am wanting to be involved with the Metis Nation in sustainable development.
