Think Thursdays

I find that when I over think, I try to take a few steps back to my original thought. When I don't think enough, I take five minutes with something I enjoy, like tea, and start to try and focus my attention.

Back to School

Getting in the mindset to go back to school is not easy. Summer has a way of infiltrating your thoughts and attitudes. Everything is more relaxed in the summer, time goes by more slowly, and your focus ends up slipping from academia. This is a good thing; you need a break every now and then to reset. If you took summer term courses, your break may have been actually quite short. So how do you make the transition from out of school to in school?

First Day Fury

It’s the first day of your course. You eagerly open OnQ and read the instructor’s opening remarks. You briefly explore the course content, check out the assignments tab, and make your way to the timeline.

Time is Money

So how exactly do you do schoolwork in small increments? How do you even concentrate with only small amounts of time available? How do you make use of time when you’re not home? I’ve got a few ideas from my own experience.
