Queen's Madhuri Koti Makes Cancer Research Breakthrough

Dr. Madhuri Koti, one of our online instructors, has discovered a biomarker that will help lead to better predictions of the success of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer patients. This discovery could lead to better treatment options in the fight against ovarian cancer.

Madhuri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at Queen's University. Her research is focused on delineating the role of tumor immune microenvironment in mediating differential drug response in ovarian cancer. She teaches the online course Infection, Immunity and Inflammation through Arts and Science Online.

Congratulations, Madhuri!
