BIOLOGY TEACHING AWARDS
Nominate your favourite educators for the Biology DSC Awards!!
BioDSC Award for Excellence in Teaching
The award is given by the Biology Departmental Council and is to recognize a professor for their excellence in teaching.
What professors taught you well and made you excited about Biology? How effective were your profs? Did they have enthusiasm for them material that made you excited to? Was the information clearly explained? How approachable were they (in and out of class)?
Biology Award for Excellence (Demonstrators)
The award is presented to one graduate student acting as a Teacher's Assistant in the lab. The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding contributions made by a graduate student, both inside and outside the scheduled laboratory period.
Who explained lab material clearly and helped you through your lab work? Who had the most enthusiasm for teaching? Who was available for help outside of the lab time? Which TA do you think is the best?
