Kat StewartKat Stewart receives a Rosemary Grant Award at the Society for the Study of Evolution annual meeting.

Kat Stewart (PhD candidate with Steve Lougheed) recently received a Rosemary Grant Graduate Student Research Award” from the Society for the Study of Evolution. The award is given to about 15 students globally each year and goes toward the completion of a PhD’s student research in evolutionary ecology. Most awards are $2500 USD. Kat will use her award to expand the geographic scope of her doctoral thesis tentative entitled: Diversification and the evolution of reproductive isolation in cryptic lineages of a North-American treefrog, the spring peeper (Pseudacris crucifer).
