Queen's University

WatIF Conference May 4-6, 2014

1st Annual Water Initiative for the Future (WatIF): 2014 Graduate Conference

The Canadian national WatIF conference will be hosted at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. The conference is designed to empower graduate students to become strong and passionate leaders in future water-related careers.

Students will discuss the implications of current research on the future of Canada's water.
WatIF is novel as it is a national conference organized by a multidisciplinary group of graduate students for graduate students. This conference will encourage collaboration and communication among students from universities across Canada and disciplines by giving them an opportunity to share their research at all stages (from budding ideas to a finished product).

Graduate students and water professionals are invited to attend the three days of WatIF. On May 5 from 5:30 - 9:00 pm in theBioscience Complex there will be a free networking evening: Expert Evening/Poster Hour. Non-students are invited to RSVP for free.
