September 2009 will see the first intake of the new collaborative program in Biostatistics. Offered jointly by the Departments of Community Health & Epidemiology and Mathematics and Statistics, it is a one year intensive program that gives students a foundation in the theory and applications of the broad field of Biostatistics.

The program is targeted to students with an honours B.Sc degree wtih high standing in statistics, mathematics and computer science or in a program in biology, life sciences, or health sciences with strong analytical skills. The program will be completed by course work and a 4 month practicum.
