The BISC gains strength and diversity through its network of global partners, academic contacts, and Queen’s own consortia. These linkages provide strategic depth to our program, vibrancy through visiting faculty, and experience through scholars in residence.

More than 7000 students have attended the BISC and now form a vibrant alumni network.

The Matariki Network of Universities

Seven premiere research institutions comprise the Matariki Network of Universities. The BISC is committed to the promotion and support of Matariki Network initiatives.

Global Partners

The Bader International Study Centre is proud of its dynamic relationships with a number of core academic partners. In addition to hosting their students, who make such an important contribution to our international community, we also regularly host visiting professors from these partners, and seek to develop stronger collaborative ties via research and publishing as well.

Students can also attend the upper year program in any term or for a field school on letters of permission. We have recently hosted students from the following institutions:

Mount Allison University, Ohio State University, University of Waterloo, Rochester Institute of Technology, Clarkson University, McGill University, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Carleton University, and SUNY.

Educational institutions wishing to explore possible study abroad agreements and special partnerships with BISC should contact Dr Christian Lloyd, BISC Academic Director, at
