Library and Learning Commons
Eugene Svoboda, the BISC Librarian, together with a team of dedicated Library assistants provide the BISC Library Services.
In spite of the ever increasing importance and availability of information on line, the traditional library remains, and will remain for the foreseeable future, the most important gateway to information of all sorts.
The BISC library at the Castle contains resources closely linked to your course/study. The library also contains material for your leisure (i.e. DVDs and CD-ROMs), and even items to help you plan your trips abroad (travel guides, etc.)!
In the Reference section, we have:
- Study area (carrels)
- Several PC terminals
- UK newspapers and magazines
This area is open 24 hours.
The Stacks section contains items you can borrow/sign out, during our regular library hours, when our friendly staff are available to help.
If you would like to see what we have in our library please visit our Library page
You do not need to log in to access it!
Should you wish to access additional resources during your studies at the BISC there are weekly trips to the University of Sussex library where you can do more extensive research for class assignments, projects, or essays.
Should you have a question relating to our library please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
