* An additional administrative fee of $1058 is payable to the Queen's Faculty of Law.

Program fees include

  • Tuition
  • Room and board: shared accommodation (2 students per room) and full meal plan
  • Field studies trips: transportation, entrance fees and packed lunches, as well as accommodation and breakfast on overnight excursions
  • Access to BISC facilities and services, including computing rooms, a library, and a fully equipped gym
  • Regular trips to (and borrowing privileges at) the libraries at the University of Sussex
  • Frequent banking/shopping trips to nearby towns
  • Transfers to and from Heathrow airport on designated dates

Program fees do not include

  • Return airfare to and from the UK (Typically >$700)
  • Visa cost (£328 for a Tier 4 Student (General) Visa as of May 2016)
  • Supplemental health insurance ($284 for academic year 2015/16)
  • Immigration Health Surcharge (£150 as of May 2016)
  • Textbooks and course supplies
  • Personal expenses and laundry
  • Lunches and dinners on overnight excursions

  • All fees are in Canadian dollars
  • We are a charity institution, and we endeavour to keep tuition and residence fees as low as is commensurate with retaining the quality of our programs. Our fees will incorporate increase in tuition approved by the province of Ontario.

Fee Payment Schedule

The 2016-17 fees are payable according to the following schedule:

  • Residence Deposit - due upon accepting offer of admission
  • Fall - September 1st, 2016
  • Winter - January 10th, 2016
  • Summer - May 1st, 2016
