Inclusive Community

The student experience at the Castle combines two vital components – top class academics and an active, tight-knit community. You will benefit from small class sizes, accessible instructors, and a wide range of inclusive activities both on and off campus. We provide social and sporting activities utilising our charming facilities including the Ballroom, gym and even a Castle ‘pub’; and deliver a variety of programming designed to help students meet the challenges of life as well as academia. You can enhance your CV with a range of volunteering opportunities in the local community, or widen your social network by participating in local groups and clubs.

The Student Services team facilitates a wide range of inclusive Castle and Bader Hall events and are charged with assisting students to feel part of the BISC community, this includes being proactive in identifying and addressing behaviours that are detrimental to that community and remaining alert to students who may be experiencing difficulty. For more information on events and programming please refer to the BISC calendar.

Students are represented by an elected Student Government who also put on a range of events and services for students.
